Coker to Host MLK Celebration on Jan. 17

HARTSVILLE, SC – January 12, 2011 - Coker College will host its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Monday, Jan. 17 in the Watson Theater of the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center.

The program is sponsored by Coker College’s African American Studies Specialization Committee and will feature musical performances by some of the College’s music students, as well as a lecture by Associate Professor of English, John Foster.

The hour long program will begin at 7:30 p.m.
